Thank you, Japan.
One of my last days before leaving the farmhouse, I went to the Fujino Center for the Arts and made the ugliest, heaviest pots ever using a weird combo of hand-building techniques. (Enjoy them Bryan!)
(I also went to an onsen that day, but let’s all be thankful I don’t have pictures of that.)
I shopped so hard at the craft store in Kyoto that they signed me up for a membership card. (I thought that’s what the sales lady was asking, and I kept nodding yes, and then she wrote down “30% off” and I really nodded.)
The airport offered one last chance to make something before leaving Japan. Why not?
