More images from the mountainside. It’s been hot (like 90+) and humid, with some thunderstorms and even hail. You know those trees in Asian paintings that look nothing like you’ve (I’ve) never seen? They are real, and they look amazing. Sometimes while walking the dogs, I feel like I’m in a Dr. Seuss book. I just need to come up with better rhymes.
I can’t wait to see what of this landscape makes it into my artwork, consciously or subconsciously. I’ve been doing some sketching, so maybe there is something in there waiting to break through. It’s hard not to be inspired by mountains, a giant misty sky, lush green flora, and a house full of creative people working non-stop on projects. More about that later.

The neat rows are Bryan’s tea fields. He grows and processes enough for the next year. Wow, right?
